Netflix Zuul

In the age of micro services, housekeeping work like logging, monitoring, security etc becomes debatable item on the responsibility.

• Do we create a separate micro service to do that? 
• Do we create a API gate way (parent application) to do that? 
• Even if we create API gate way application, how do we scale
